Toddler Easter Basket Ideas from Amazon

I absolutely love making holiday gift baskets for Emmy – it’s one of my favorite parts of becoming a mama. If you’re familiar with Love Languages, mine is gifts. Justus laughs as I start collecting little things for Emmy months before the holiday is here. My mom would do the same thing for my sister and I, and Easter was always the biggest one of all. In fact, the first Easter my sister had with her husband, she was devastated and cried when he didn’t have a gift basket for her. Fast forward to my first Christmas with my mother-in-law, and she gave me Poo-Pourri as a gift. I was so disappointed and beside myself that she would think I would want that. I think it’s hilarious now, but I tell you these silly stories to say gifts are a big deal in our family. Thanks mom, for raising us right. 😉

Anyways, I am still working on what I will put in Emmy’s basket this year, but I found some great options on Amazon to share with you. Some of these things, Emmy has and loves, and I think your little ones will too.

Pajamas. Can toddlers ever have too many pajamas? I think not. These sweet, two-piece pajamas have amazing reviews and come in so many colors. I love the lettuce hem on the girl’s set.

Stuffed bunny. My sister got Emmy a Jellycat bunny with floral ears and she now sleeps with it every night. I have a backup in case she ever loses it. They are truly so soft and snuggly, and come in all sorts of colors.

Water bottle. A practical, but cute gift. I like that this one has a straw and a sippy top. Although Emmy always just wants whatever water bottle or cup I am drinking out of. 😉 Can any moms relate?

Bubble bath. Bath time is our favorite time of day around here. I haven’t used bubble bath with Emmy before because of her sensitive baby skin. But, she recently started loving bubbles, so I think it’s time to try. My best friend uses this California Baby brand for her girls, and I like that it uses essential oils and doesn’t have sulfates.

Chalk eggs. As spring arrives, we are craving warm days in the sun, and it’s time to bust out the sidewalk chalk. To tie in the Easter theme, why not grab some in a cute egg shape.

Sand toys. Whether you have a sand box at home or at your local park, or live by the beach, these toys would be a big hit. I love that they come with a little mesh bag to tote them around.

Book. This precious, board book has flaps for your little one to pull down and interact with. I put it in Emmy’s basket last year and couldn’t wait to bring it out this year. It also shares the most important part of Easter – Jesus is alive and all things are new!

Snack spinner. I recently got a pack of two of these at Sam’s Club. If you are a Sam’s member, grab them because they were a great deal. Emmy (15 months) can’t quite work it on her own yet. If she lifts it, she spills the snack out. But, she LOVES to push the button and it kept her very entertained at a restaurant the other night. I just make sure to set it on the floor or a table for her and help her get the snacks out. She will grow into it, but it really helps me pack a variety of snacks for her when we go out. Lately, we like to fill it with Cheerios, peas, diced cucumber, shredded cheese, Goldfish, etc.

Snacks. Every Easter basket needs treats! If your little one is still a bit young for candy like Emmy, try adding a few Annie’s bunny grahams in pastel, plastic eggs, or Peter Rabbit Organics fruit and vegetable pouches.
